The latest film of Transformers recently emerged from a lot of issues surrounding their usage of Winston Churchill’s home as Nazi headquarters. So the crew came up with an apt plan to lighten the mood. They shared a set video of Transformers: The Last Knight showing a deadly stunt undertaken by Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock that blow away the minds of fans.
Transformers: The Last Knight is breaking all boundaries to bring forth a revolution to the franchise. Fans have already seen sneak peeks of explosions and car stunts. But now, Director Michael Bay has introduced something really challenging called the ‘Room Roll.’
The device takes Wahlberg and Haddock on a complete roll ride, literally. It is used to project the impact of a room turning completely upside down, taking Wahlberg and Haddock with it. The actors were scared, excited and yet really cool about performing the stunt. Haddock did get a shock when the ‘weird’ machine started turning. But later the actress took it quite sportingly, declaring it was fun after all.
Transformers: The Last Knight is filming its last few scenes in the UK. The team will then move to India and Africa, reported Cinema Blend. Meanwhile, it has covered quite a few timelines it seems. Starting from King Arthur’s medieval times, the film moves through Hitler’s reign to the present Buckingham Palace. However, Bay did not reveal the relevance. But he said fans would surely relate to the connection when they see the film.
The film appears to be developing strong socio-political overtones already. But going by the reference to The Last Night, reports claim the plot will be an adventure-centric one, surrounding a medieval artifact. Transformers fans will surely be rooting for the dramatic action sequences promised.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, John Turturro, and Josh Duhamel.
Transformers: The Last Knight will hit the theaters on June 23, 2017.
